Prayer rug - a mat used widely around the world to pray on. A space that provides a significant ritual context for the user, framing and enabling distinct mindset for the occasion of prayer.  In particular, the rug creates a special and private space for a person, whose aim is to silently communicate with God.

Based on the ritual of prayer and contemplation this body of works uses the visual language informed by sacred geometry, repetition and ritual to make sense of the domestic - the house - as a charged space.
